The restaurant caters for a wide variety of function types, including breakfasts, lunches and dinners. These functions are subject to venue hire according to the function day and type. Encore Restaurant also hosts numerous special events throughout the year that is open to the public for bookings. Please note our events calendar for the next upcoming event. With breath taking views to be seen from our Restaurant, Encore Restaurant and Conference Centre offers the perfect, exclusive venue for any function. We cater for conferences, meetings, workshops, birthday parties, corporate events, launches, yearend functions and weddings. Encore Restaurant offers extensive and versatile menus for breakfasts, lunch or dinner events. Menus can be altered to suit special needs including; themed menus or specifically themed events. The venue can accommodate a maximum of 80 guests with a selection of different styles of seating creating the perfect intimidate function for any event.

Our venue has a fully licensed bar facility, which is available. The bar facility includes a wide range of local and imported products. These include soft drinks, beers, ciders, spirits, liqueurs etc. Our wine list has been expertly compiled and boasts a wide selection of sparkling, red and white wines. Guests are encouraged to seek assistance in their wine selection to ensure the wine compliments the food.

The standard restaurant venue hire includes:

  • Use of the venue for setup two (2) hours prior to the starting time of the function.
  • The exclusive use of the venue till 24:00.
  • Tables (round and rectangular available) and chairs.
  • All glassware, cutlery and crockery.
  • Table linen: Please enquire about available selection.
  • Full setup of the venue according to clients requirements.
  • Professional waiters and bar tenders.
  • Qualified Head Chef and Catering staff.
  • A fully licensed bar facility.
  • Use of the standard restaurant equipment.

The conference centre consists of three venues: Bravo & Voila, both equipped with state of the art audio visual equipment, which can also be converted into one Multi-room. Indaba, the boardroom, complete with handcrafted table and panoramic view of Cape Town and the surrounding areas.

The various conference rooms can be hired per hour for the shorter conference bookings or meetings at the following costs:

Rates are charged per hour for an hour, or any part thereof and do not include any catering.

Note that the per hour rate is only applicable to conferences that does not fall under a conference package. The Banqueting Manager will explain and confirm these amounts.

The various conference centres are also hired out for Full and Half day Conferences and offers a selection of packages to select from to accommodate any type of conference and/or budget. All refreshment breaks are included in the various conference packages. As per the relevant conference package a set selection of Chefs Choice refreshments are available at the scheduled break times.

Lunch menus are available to conference packages containing lunch options. It should however be noted that, regardless of the option chosen, all light lunches, buffets and set menu desserts are Chefs Choice for the specific day. No food will be allowed to be removed from the premises from the client’s requested menu should any be left over. Encore has a no “take-away” policy.

These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all contracts for the hiring of the Venues in Encore Restaurant and Conference Centre:

  1. Standard restaurant venue hire  (pdf)
  2. Capacity and Seating Style 
  3. Rates and Cancellation Policy 
  4. Catering and operating hours 
  5. Buy a Voucher 

Catering hours will strictly start at 08:00am, should the client request any food requirements up and above the catering included in the conference package.

  • Breakfast will be served from 08:00 – 11:00 and Lunch from 12:00 – 15:00.
  • Should a client request the service of catering before 08:00am a courtesy fee will be charged.
  • Please note that Encore Restaurant and Conference Centre will be closed on Public Holidays.

In our continuous efforts to ensure compliance, we have the following preventative measures in place:

  1. All our guests are screened upon arrival at all restaurants, and the wearing of masks is compulsory.
  2. All staff are screened upon arrival and all the precautionary measures must be adhered to when interacting with our guests and preparing the food.
  3. Sanitation points are visible and accessible to all guests and staff.
  4. The menus, tables, furniture and cutlery, and crockery are sanitised after every sitting. 
  5. We adhere to strict food health and safety measures.
